I love freecycle!

Woohoo freecycle came through. My washing machine has not been spinning properly for two weeks. This on top of the :mad: :mad: oil leak, was just too much. So without much hope I looked for one of freecycle. I was so lucky, one person had offered one 14 days ago, but had been let down. So we now have a lovely Bosch washing machine FOR NOWT.

www.freecycle.org is a site where you join a local group and offer and receive free goods. All sorts, baby stuff, plants, car manuals, shelving, hard core, curtains are just some of the things I have see offered on my local group. All you have to do is arrange to pick it up. The stuff itself is FREE!

It is only a little thing, but having dripping clothes all over the place was really frustrating, so duchy i think you were right about being in the right place!
They boys are impressed too as it sounds a bit like a jet taking off when it spins:D

Ive used freecycle, Ive given lots of things away, mainly baby stuff. But Ive never been lucky enough to receive anything! So well done on the washing machine (good make too) they work for years.

And Bosch is a very good make, mine lasted 17 years with me and 2 kids doing a wash most days.

Freecycle is the greatest. I got a fridge, a pc and a bed frame from our local group and given away a piano and a sofa.
Seemed like a good deal to me. If you know you have enough, you're rich.
