Freebies for schools - where?

Hello Everyone,
I'm currently trying to get hold of some freebies for the primary school my kids go to. I know in previous years (maybe 3 or 4 years ago) there were loads of relevant freebies as i remember getting them and letting the local school have them. I remember getting road safety booklets, stickers, reflectors, flurescent armbands etc, stickers and activity pads from other places, key rings, pencils and pens (which were greatly received in school!) from other places. I seem to remember NHS stop smoking, "hedgehogs", adult literacy week and DVLA(?) for road safety.
Does anyone know of any current places i could get relevant stuff for our small primary school?
Thanks in advance
Zziggi

I found the Co-op website and resources really good when teaching about Fair Trade in KS 1. There's a DVD with lots of pictures and videos about how bananas are grown, tea leaves picked etc.

The British Heart Foundation do some great packs for kids and teachers.
I've got a few of these at home and DD loves playing with them. It's a glossy pic with loads of vegetable characters that can be reapplied over and over again.
Also found this and this don't know if any good to you? But they have hundreds of free publications and lots of free downloads, so have a good search through their site. They do actually do lots of free teaching publications/aids. They do suggest a donation but I know people have had things of them in the past without one.
Try having a look here for lots of ideas.**************************************
I need someone really bad! Are you really bad?
