I found a leaflet in my inlaws Caravan Club mag.

Offer is 5 pieces of Serif software on Cd for 82p postage. They are:

    Pageplus 7
    Photoplus 6.5
    Drawplus 5
    Webplus 6
    Photomanager

Some of these are available to download from https://www.freeserifsoftware.com and some are later versions than those available from that site. Plus you get them on CDs.

I did it and the CDs arrived a few days later, they are extremely useful pieces of software a quick Google search will tell you about each one.

You need to ring 0800 376 5472 and quote code NLO/CARA/FOC

    Offer closes 26th August.

The caravan Mag, home of bargains and journalism of the highest calibre, nice to see that you've changed your choice of magazine since becoming a father.

If you play with the URL numbers there's some more freebies there. e.g. change it to a 4 and there's a fre copy of WS_FTP.

Only took a few seconds to download, although I am on 4meg...

A few years ago I registered a copy of Serif Pageplus and was absolutely bombarded with junk mail and phone calls from Serif. If you can register this without giving a phone number do so. This is a loss leader (of sorts) and is a way for them to get your info. Their software is okay though if you can tolerate the sales people.
The Gimp software mentioned above is a safer bet and is now included in downloads of Linux operating system. Look also for Open Office which is a free alternative to Microsoft office (fully compatible too I believe).
