one for the very clever, win £1000

Hence i didnt enter lol :)

How do you win? Read the story and look at the picture-clues. The solution lies within. When you have found the solution, you must send it to us in the box below. You will also need to fully explain how you reached it. The solution is very short, but it is unlikely that you will be able to explain the solution in less than 500 words. The reason that we are asking for this explanation is that many competitions of this ilk have finished unsatisfactorily. That is to say that the solution has been found more by luck than acute thinking and research. We also do not want to be bombarded with pot-shot solutions from those who have not studied the puzzle properly.

There is no end date as it depends on when the puzzle gets solved :)

Good luck

Is this definitely current do you think? Can't be bothered if it isn't. lol. And how unfair is that, chucking in a Nintendo Wii if you're under 30. Ageist it is.

    Thanks OP.

I'd better get cracking then - I only have 3 months if I want to get that wii too. Though I think 3 years would be more realistic.

I think you'd have to be some kind of Freemason or summink to work that one out! ;)

    Da Vinci Code et al.

This comp is some serious code breaking that just might be more suitable to the somewhat cryptic.

"We have no idea how long it will take somebody to solve it. It could be days, months or even years."

YEARS!? What sort of competition is that? Thats an endurance test not a competition!

No wonder there is no end date!
