Roll up, roll up. Dumbo, the adorable elephant with the gigantic ears, is back to melt the hearts of a new generation.
This story of loyalty, courage and triumph, which has been loved by fans since 1941, can now be enjoyed again and again with fully restored colour and crystal-clear sound quality on a special edition Disney DVD from Monday 7th May 2007. With an Academy Award® for Best Music (‘Baby Mine’ and ‘When I See An Elephant Fly’), Dumbo is filled with adventure and colourful characters - and is now available in limited edition packaging.
Why not go behind the scenes with DisneyPedia’s "My First Circus", where you can learn about your favourite circus animals or find out what makes each of us special in DVD Storybook: "Dumbo’s Big Discovery."
Kids will love Sing Along Songs, a new ‘Baby Mine’ music video and much more, when Dumbo flies on to Disney DVD this May. Mrs Jumbo, veteran of the circus, longs for a child but when the stork finally delivers a baby elephant the newborn is ridiculed because of his truly enormous ears and dubbed "Dumbo".
Dumbo is relegated to the circus' clown acts and it is up to his only friend, Timothy the mouse, to assist Dumbo to achieve his full potential. Dumbo soon learns that his spectacular ears make him unique and special, allowing him to soar to fame as the world’s only flying elephant.
Released on the same date with digitally remastered sound and vision, is Disney’s Robin Hood, a tale of swashbuckling adventure, unforgettable characters and lots of laughs for all the family.
Available in a special edition holographic slipcase, Robin Hood tells the timeless legend of courage and friendship, as Robin and his band of merry men rebel against the villainy of Prince John (voiced by Peter Ustinov) to become the heroes of the common people of Sherwood Forest.
A forest full of extras include a never before seen alternate ending, Disney song selection and animated bonus short ‘Ye Olden Days.’ The kids will be entertained for hours with Robin Hood’s Merry Games including ‘Archery Trivia Challenge’ and ‘Rescue Maid Marian’ when Robin Hood swings on to Special Edition DVD from this May.
