Club La Costa -- Genuine win?

I've just been phoned to say I have won a Club La Costa Holiday. I don't honestly remember entering a competition for one, but then I just dip in and out of competitions a bit, so it's possible ...
A guy rang me and gave me a freephone no. to call. On that number a girl took some 'security details' - married or single, homeowner, income bracket.
We have to attend a presentation for 2 hours to get our documents, but then we've won 7 nights with flights for 4 in a 'luxury villa' in spain or tenerife, apparently.
It's a con, isn't it?

I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.

Right, so, having read the other thread, the top and bottom of it is
Yes there would be a 7 night 'holiday', in some unspecified resort, in someone's idea of a 'luxury' apartment.
But we BOTH have to sit thru' a timeshare selling presentation first, and spend half a day of the 'holiday' doing it again
It's only 'free' in that an apartment is provided, and basic flights to get there. We have to pay a booking fee (29.50 each) and airport tax when we go. And every morsel of food or minute of entertainment will cost too.
So not FREE in any sense then .
Ho Hum, back to work.
Thanks for the tip off, guysI try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.0 -

"club la costa" i filled a comp form @ the airport a month ago.
and when they rang me and said id won a 7 night luxury hol ,iwas in shock.
i rang a free number confirmed some details, and they gave me a appointment for next week to go and see the places i can go,
after reading this site i think i wont bother.
i wouldnt have thought an airport wouldnt let such people do these things to people in there airport it gives them a bad name,"bristol airport".0
