Hi,
I recently ate a scone with cinnamon, spices, currants and raisins. I would like to make some at home (I know I should have asked for the recipe but I didn't think of that at the time)
It had in it cinnamon, currants and raisins, and some spices (my guess would be mixed spice but I'm not sure).
Does anybody know of a recipe that has these ingredients in, or if not what quantities should I add to a basic scone recipe?
Thanks
pippa

Thanks. Sounds quite a bit like that- I think I may adapt the recipe a bit to get what I want but that sounds like the right base.0

Hi pippa
Happi was asking on the quick questions thread about something she ate in John Lewis's called 'Christmas Scones'. I googled on her behalf and found this link - maybe it would help you as well.

hope that's of some use
