Home Made Chips - To freeze or not?

Options
Can you freeze cooked chips and then warm them in the microwave ? if you could it would be handy for taking to work.

    I think IIRC the trick is not to fully cook them, same as those 'micro chips' are done. Make great ones for cheesy chips however :D or with chilli and cheese on
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    I cut too many home made chips tonight and was wondering if it is ok to freeze them? If so, do you have to defrost them before cooking? We all prefer home made ones here rather than frozen chips that taste nothing like potato, so if anyone can advise me I'd be grateful:o

    Are they cooked? If not I woudl suggest par poiling them and then you can cook from frozen. if you have cooked them then yes, you can freeze them (I freeze anthing!) but I am unsure about the best way to reheat them.

    No I hadn't cooked them but had chopped them up. Thanks for the advice. I'll give it a go and see what happens.

    I par boil mine them freeze them. I think then you can cook them from frozen, but I haven't had them for a while now!
