If you have a heavy duty stapler, I would staple each 35 pages together (my puny little one couldn't cope.......) and put each in a simple presentation folder - BUT -
I dutifully (and expensively) prepared an original plus 2 copied versions; the Court Clerk made notes and changes on the original which I then had to initial and then she took a copy of that which I got back (can't remember if that was before or after the Judge had looked at it), so my 2 copies got shredded for guinea pig bedding icon7.gif

    What do I know?

  • so long as i give em 3 copies they can rip em into a5 size, put string thru one corner and hang em the bogs for me
  • i see the OR can access the online version once completes, so why does the court demand three copies?

    hang em high attitude again?

Have they insisted on the three copies then (my Court didn't - Sheffield)? Ii IS just to keep us jumping through hoops - you know that don't you?

    Not in the slightest.

It's one copy each for the records.

The OR will get the info online, but the court will not. The paper copies will also be the definitive set for the records, since as mentioned by Got2change they are often amended by hand by the BR clerk on the day.

I'd give your court a ring and ask before you waste paper and ink. Our court only needed one copy. When we went for our interview the OR already had a copy, I didn't think to ask from where, I assume from the ones submitted online. Anyhow we now have 4 spare copies (2 for each of us) sitting at home, what a waste!

As for keeping them together, laccy bands?

If you feel like a smile -
I have only just read your user name properly; I have been reading it as "Max My CARDIGAN" and have been picturing someone looking like a Max wearing an old-fashioned buttoned-up cardigan.
    Sorry.

Anyway - punching, stapling, binding, twanging an elastic band around it - whichever feels best for you - just don't use it for loo paper before you go to Court.

Mine too. They made the extra copy needed for the court record, and the one that they must pass to the OR.

But some do ask you to supply the copies yourself, so it's always best to check.
