I would prefer to get it all online preferably EBay if possible.

Hi, I've made some. I used:
    - Square cardboard coasters from Calico Crafts (now sold out) but you could try ebay or your local pub ;). Doesn't matter if they are printed as you will be covering them with paper.
    - Cover the coaster both sides with paper. I used scrapbooking paper which is quite thick. You can either cut the paper to fit the coaster and then attach with glue or double-sided tape or attach the paper and then cut round with a craft knife or small sharp scissors.
    - Attach a mini calendar to the mat with glue/dst. I bought these but you can make your own with freebie printables online such as this.
    - Decorate the rest of the coaster if you want to.
    - Pop a small magnet on the back with strong glue so the calendar can be stuck on a fridge or other appliance.

Does that help, please shout if you have any questions. Here are some pics of some of what I've made...

You could make these with circular coasters too for a change.

If you Google 'Coaster Calendar' you will find lots of examples!

The calendars can be found quite cheaply in card shops for 10p each or I got some bigger ones the other day from the Works for 15p each. ;)

I'm 'making' my hubby get some coasters from a pub! :D

Most of my flowers came from here, free p&p for flowers ;) You could decorate with a bit of tied ribbon or a button instead?
