Just make them in exactly the same way as you would beef burgers. You could add a touch of mint for that traditional lamb and mint sauce taste.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Thank you !! Will put mint in too.
At the risk of appearing really thick - is there a recipe on here for beef burgersNever attempted any kind of HM burger before - only trying it now because I have got a burger maker from Lakeland - lol

For simplicity, just grab palmful of mince, squidge into a ball, pat it flat into burger shape, fry or grill. That's it
You can add herbs, salt etc to taste
Some advocate adding egg to bind, but there is no need
If a you add bread / oats etc to bulk them up, then an egg may be neededEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -

Pouf! Your wish is my command. For beef read lamb.
BEEFBURGER
Makes 2 quarter pounders
INGREDIENTS
250g of lean minced beef*
1 tablespoon of sunflower oil
METHOD
Divide the mince into two halves. Mould and press the mince into two flat discs. Make them firm, so that they don’t fall apart. Make them chunky, as thin edges will cook too quickly.
Put the oil into a frying pan on a medium heat. Fry the burgers for about 5 minutes on each side.
ADDITIONS & ALTERNATIVES
Use minced lamb, pork or turkey instead of minced beef. Use chuck steak, which is reasonably cheap but doesn’t have too much fat, and either get the butcher to mince it or mince it yourself.
If you need to make the meat go further, add some grated carrot to the meat mixture.
If the burgers won’t hold together, add some beaten egg to the meat mixture. If you make the mixture too wet, add some breadcrumbs.
Grill the burgers under a medium heat for about 5 minutes on each side. If the mince is very lean, you might need to coat the burgers with some oil.
TIPS
You can make the burgers using a burger press. This is a round mould, which you fill with the minced meat and then press it into uniformly sized burgers. However, hand made burgers have a "rustic charm" and there’s no washing up.
* Use good quality lean and finely minced meat. The cheaper the mince, the higher the fat content and the more coarsely it is minced. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
If you ever do them with beef mince, a bit of diced onion is lovely! Not sure if it would complement lamb as I don't eat it
Hope they go well!0
