freezing bread and butter pudding

Hi guys!

My in-laws just gave us loads of bread rolls (why is a long story) and we've eaten quite a lot but now what's left is getting a bit stale and I fancy a bread and butter pudding.

But I don't think we'll eat it all straight away, so at what stage could I (or should I) freeze it?

Should I make 2 and freeze a totally prepared but uncooked one?
Or just make one and freeze the left overs???

I'm just about to go away for a few days for work so anything unfreezable would just sit in the fridge (probably for 4 days). And I think that if by then I didn't do anything with the bread it'll be off.

Hi, I usually make it completely then freeze, it has always been ok and only needs microwaved to re-heat. Hope this helps.

I guess that would be easier just to make one. Also maybe I could leave leftovers in the fridge and tell OH to eat it over the weekend!

Hi again, why don't you just freeze the extra bread as well, it will be ok in the freezer for a few weeks.

Actually.... I made the pudding this morning and already 3 quarters is gone (also OH working at home not just me!!!!)
So freezing is now not an issue!!!!
