I have made an old fashioned bread pudding today with some old bread which was originally frozen. Now I have cooked it can I refreeze the portions of bread pudding?
The ingrediants are egg, dried fruit, sugar and bread.
Thanks

I freeze bread pudding. Mine has suet in. I don't know if that makes any difference. I have to freeze half or we will eat it all at once.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

I have to say I don't tend to have enough left to freeze usually..
but I HAVE frozen it before. I also put suet in mine actually. Mmmmm I think I may just have to make some soon, it's so delicious!

I don't think the fact that the bread has been frozen before will matter. I freeze loaves then freeze the crusts from those defrosted loaves for breadcrumbs.
I freeze bread pudding whenever I make it, mostly because no-one really likes it. It usually end up being given to the birds:o0 -
Thats fab to know
I have loads of chocolate bread pudding left as there's only 2 of us and I reckon it would have served 10!
