Ladies Day at Newbury Racecourse is always one of the most popular racedays of the year. 2008 promises to be the best yet as the one and only Boyzone will be performing live after racing on Saturday 16th August as part of their 2008 comeback tour, ensuring it will be a day to remember for the ladies young and old!
The appearance of Boyzone marks the third and final Party in the Paddock of the summer at Newbury with both X Factor’s Rhydian and Madness playing at the racecourse after evening racing on May 31st and July 11th respectively.
With hits including ‘Love Me For a Reason’ and ‘No Matter What’, the Irish pop sensation, launched in 1993, enjoyed fame and fortune in the 90s selling over 15 million records world-wide and amassing six number-one hit singles, four number one albums and 16 top-ten hit singles.
Fans all over the world were left anguished at the loss of one of their favourite bands when they split in 2000 but now the boys are back and what better day to play than Ladies Day where scores of adoring fans can once again see 90’s heartthrobs, Ronan, Stephen, Shane, Mikey and Keith.
