Have called the Book People as I used code and it accepted but then charged me. After numerous calls, 2 quite rude when I questioned their sytems (!) and a couple of lovely helpful people I have been advised that the code of FPP154 is correct but they are experienceing problems today. If you get charged, please quote your account number and they will refund.
Also, just to note that apparently, sometimes the codes are issued as a promotion (even though really it isn't as you have to spend £25 quid) to help customer services (not us) identify which mailing has been sent. Bit pointless when you have to spend the amount that you would get for free anyway without a code. As I said, man got very grumpy with me......
Hope that helps.0 -
I used the code 147FPP on the 3rd of feb, but when I checked my bank they charged me P&P.
I've just phoned them and they said it's an old code from October (even though it accepted it) and will speak to someone higher up to see if they will honour it:mad:
I'm waiting on a phone call!!
I did also say that, when it takes you to the credit card page, it doesn't say how much they're taking off your card. Surely this is wrong
