As Albert from Bell Helmets tells us, “Jim’s son Jimbo is an artist from Santa Cruz California that was literally raised on eye-popping graphics.
 His father Jim Phillips created all the graphics for Santa Cruz Skateboards in the 70s and 80s, and at age 18, Jimbo began an apprenticeship for his father doing graphics for the skateboard industry. He honed his skills and came into his own as a graphic artist and eventually sunk his teeth into skateboard graphics,
