Asda Baby and Toddler Items Half-price

Went into Asda (Canterbury) today and saw that the baby and toddler event was finishing. Went and bought two Lindam stair gates. Normally ₤15, but reduced to ₤7.50 each. There were no signs up that these things were reduced, but SA said that some of the products were half-price to get rid of them as they are on promotion and it was finishing. I also bought some baby sleepsuits, that were on the same section, but weren't reduced. I think it is because they are part of the George range, and can easily be put back there, whereas the stairgates are brought in specially for the promotion.
I am guessing that this is nationwide as the Baby and Toddler event was nationwide too.

It's what you put a baby in when you are going to leave it at a bus stop for someone else to find...
