hmm, on second thoughts, i am interested in knowing where this code came from, as i read this on their t's and c's.2.3 Promotional codes are codes that enable customers to obtain benefits such as discounts, free delivery and free gifts. These codes are non-transferable so may only be used by the person to whom they are issued and must only be used in accordance with their terms and conditions of use. If you use a promotional code to claim a promotional benefit, you must first check that it was issued to you and that you are eligible to use it. By using it to claim a promotional benefit you will be confirming that:-
(i) you are entitled to use the code;
(ii) you meet all the conditions that apply to its use;
(iii) you agree to the terms set out below.
If, before accepting your order, we find that you are not entitled to use the code or do not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reject your order or alternatively process it without the promotional benefit being applied. If, after accepting your order, we find that you were not entitled to use the code or did not meet all the terms and conditions of its use, we may reverse the benefit that you obtained. If you transacted on a cash basis e.g. by debit or credit card, we may take a further payment, equivalent to the value of the benefit obtained, from the card used. If you transacted on a credit basis, the value of the benefit obtained may be charged to your credit account.0 -

I buy from Additions all the time & never had a problem using codes (touch wood).
Although, if you don't want any comeback (as sometimes i know Littlewoods claw back the discount amount from you if they didn't issue the code) - just make sure to pay by Debit card.0 -

Thanks, I made a purchase earlier today, hope things go ok. Why use a debit card and not a credit card? I thought the safer option was to use a credit card so that any additional charges would need to be approved vs a debit card where charges are automatically charged to a bank account?I :heart2: Waitrose0 -

I don't actually own a credit card, but surely any additional charges would again have to be approved (even when using a Debit Card)?
The discounted total was the total agreed & paid for on my Debit Card.
I doubt if Littlewoods would be able to take money from my card again, without my say so.......as this would be deemed a separate transaction!0 -
if you have paid by card and used a discount code remember you will be charged the full amount and the discount will be refunded back to your card later usually about 4 days i think or when the item is despatched:j2 years smoke free :j:eek: now to lose the extra 4 stone :eek:0
