    Just checked mine and it's cost me £1 too and also 10p for standard text so £1.10 doh :( I'm on Virgin too, I never checked until u said.

    I suppose they are covering their backs by saying "mobiles vary" There must be some way of complaining. Luckily I didn't text. But I sympathise with those who did.
