Kenwood Chef Advice

I have seen a very cool and retro 1950s kenwood chef on ebay and was thinking of buying it. It's a bit rusty though, I was wondering if anyone had any idea of whether it would be easy to clean up. It looks like all the bits that mix the food are in decent condition.
Also, are the motors/parts for these really old ones the same as the 60's/70's ones that are everywhere?

Please don't outbid me though
