NEWS Shopper has 20 pairs of tickets to the European Kit and Car Builder Show next month to give away.

The 18th European Kit and Car Builder Show races into the Kent County Showground Detling near Maidstone on April 12 and, showcasing the finest hand-built supercars and replicas in the UK.

Ample free parking, plenty of great food, quad-bike rides for the kids and a children's funfair will make for a great half-term day out for the whole family.

Those unfamiliar with kit cars will be blown away by their superb build quality, replicating the world's finest supercars in everything but badge. For those already taken by these beautiful driving machines, the show is a great way to catch up with this unique industry and its manufacturers.

Organiser John Cooke said: "The two-day Detling car extravaganza will showcase the very best of the kit car world, including many established favourites and some superb newcomers. The event really is the perfect way to enjoy half-term with the kids, at the same time enjoying the stunning beauty of these top-class machines."

A record number of manufacturers will be at the European Kit and Car Builder Show 2008 displaying their enviable creations. More than 40 will be taking part, joined by 50 trade stands, 30 kit car clubs, and more than 400 privately owned kit cars showcasing the very best this industry has to offer.

The main glass-walled exhibition hall helps illuminate the array of offerings including many from south east manufacturers such as Hawk Cars of Frant, AEON Sportscars of Marden as well as Blaze Sportscars, Cranbrook Kitcars and GKD from Maidstone.

The show is all about motoring entertainment and it doesn't get much better than the multiple donuts and extreme cornering of the slalom event, where an unforgettable ride in a Westfield is sure to make any visitor's day!

The Neil Porter stunt show will also provide heart-stopping entertainment with his incredible wheelies, smokies and explosive action-packed motorcycle stunts.

Whether looking for pure entertainment, advice on building your own car or to stock up on vital parts, the Detling Kit and Car Builder Show 2008 has it all.

The European Kit and Car Builder Show 2008 takes place at The Kent County Showground, Detling near Maidstone (ME14 3JF - junction 7 M20) on April 12 and 13 from 10am to 5pm both days. Adults £9, children (12 years and under) £2. Kit car drivers with their cars enter free!
