No it's not for me!!
I found out last night that a friend had almost completed signing up with them for a DMP. I know they charge, and i have mentioned CCCS and payplan.
Info on B&E on the web is very sketchy. I'm looking for stories of experiences I can use to help my friend basically - he says he's too far down the road to turn now, but im not sure that true

No it definitely isn't. A DMP is not legally binding - you can pull out anytime you want to - and, yes, you can pull out to go with someone else. Maybe he has already made a payment, or they have taken a while to sort out everything, so he doesn't feel it's worthwhile starting again. But, if this will save him money in the long-run, I suggest he does. Also, the creditors are more likely to favour fee-free DMP arrangements to those that charge - basically because all the extra money could be going to them. It doesn't cost much to make a phone call, I suggest that your friend at least speaks to the CCCS or PAYPLAN.I'm moving on up now,

I was with Thornton shep who charged - I wrote to all my creditors and told them that I would be changing as the money they charged me would be much better off being split between them and so reduce the debts. None of them had a problem with not getting the money from TS anymore.
He would be much better off changing asap - tell him the money he is paying B&E is really dead money - its only going into their pockets and that maybe his debts would be paid off earlier by sending it to his creditors.
CCCS are very good at sorting things out - it only took a 2 weeks from my initial phone call to getting all the information from them and starting up my DMP.
Best of luck.0
