I just got bounced around to a survey that took 5 minutes and ended up crediting 80SB, but then I did one of those surveys that asks your opinion on 4 different video clips and one of the trailers actually made me cry a bit :rotfl: I think this sums up how I feel about Swagbucks :rotfl:

I got that one too, brought a tear to the eyes!! I ended up giving it negative review as i didnt want to see it again! :rotfl:

I struggled to make it through the Baywatch trailer. It was torture!

I recall somebody having the same problem with one of their gift cards last year and they had to email ngcecodes.

Ok, so this might be a silly request but could someone explain how the self invoicing for mastercard via paypal works. Do you get the full £5 and what do you have to do?

No you don't get the full £5 as they deduct fees, for a £5 mastercard you get £4.63, a £10 card gets you £9.46 (someone around page 100 did the calculations on how worthwhile it is value wise to other options)

In paypal you go to 'send & request', then 'create invoice', send it to an email address you have that isn't associated to your paypal account with a value of £5 (you can do £10, tick the box at the bottom left allowing partial payments, & then use 2 x £5 mastercards to pay it but you still only get £4.63 per £5)
When the email arrives at the email address requesting payment follow the link, go for the non paypal payment option, input the online mastercard details that you get from swagbucks as the payment method, your contact details with the email address you sent the request to, & pay it. & say 'no thanks' when it gives you the option to set up a paypal account for that email address.

& then log into your paypal account and withdraw the funds as you usually would
    - Mortgage: 1st one down, 2nd also busted
    - Student Loan gone
Swagbucks, Mingle, GiffGaff, Prolific, Qmee & Quidco; thank you MSE every little bit helps

Please can you tell us what it is, to save us hunting back?

Yes, sorry :) After getting the codes for 2 Amazon giftcards (from the link in my email), I clicked the 3rd one and completed the captcha but then instead of it showing the code I got a message from ngcecodes saying that my ip address was blocked and to email them at an address they gave saying my name, which company gave me the code, and my ip address. I'm not sure if this is legit or not nor why I would be blocked when I'd just redeemed two immediately before. I've messaged SB but it says it may take up to 5 days for a response.

    Thanks.

So they are safe to email? Good to know! Did they say why they were blocked and if it was resolved?
