Today they had a lot of Sharwoods Indian bread type stuff down to 20p
Several different varieties & sizes of naan
Chappati
Poppadum
The ones I picked up all had dates into middle of September at the earliest - some into December ( though the naan & Chappati can obviously can be frozen if you want to stock up )
They also had bottles of a tomato & clam mix for creating vodka cocktails , but I gave this a miss.0 -
Last week I bought some jars of Sharwoods Red Thai cooking sauce for 20p - dates were Feb 2016!
In the past 10-12 weeks I have bought for 20p:
. huge jars of Hellmans Mayo
. Radox Fruit Burst shower gels
. 1kg pots of Branston Beans - though I think they have stopped making them as not seen them
.
In my nearest store, a good quarter of the hair dyes are being discontinued. I picked up my Nice n Easy colour mousse for £3.50 - the cheapest I have seen it is a fiver. I will be having my hair highlighted tomorrow, but it will keep until Oct/Nov.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I have noticed this at Sainsburys 're their 20p bargains. A couple of weeks before they are 20p, they have a sale ticket which has a quarter - half price knocked off. Make a note of the items.
Then on a Wednesday, they are then reduced to 20p.
Spotted some jars of olives have sale tickets on them. Plus a load of light bulbs.
Somehow, I don't think the hair dyes will go to 20pThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
