I am a regular at my local boots and always check out the bargain corner..and been very disappointed recently...each boots bargains are priced differently..for example my boots had choc showergel at £1 a bottle the one 10 miles down the road had it at 50p (went through the till at 25p so winner all round) ..anyway today I had timed it right as the SA was just putting items out..i managed to get 3 bottles of potters herbals cough syrup (boots old price £5.49) marked down price £1...so i grabbed all 3 flavours...and went though as 3 4 2 so not bad £2!!! ...if in doubt always grab 3 items as you never know they maybe on offer! ...lots of vitamins etc in my branch so i hope this helps anyone x

Boots clearance right by the til in our local so i always browse!
Today Ted Baker are discontinuing their old range, the orange floral bags. So managed to get the wash bag for £4 should be £16!
But tgey always have the discontinued or damaged products like missing lids on shower gel etc!
Best place in Boots :-)0 -
Good finds. Our local Boots reduced sections are usually terrible. I'll keep looking though0

My local boots is hit and miss!
A few weeks ago I got an olay moisturiser for 50p and paid with points so technically free.
Last week got bumble and bumble thickening hairspray travel size for £1 - full size is nearly £20 online!
Looked today - only baby stuff and toothbrushes - nothing I need!Paying it all off in 2017:
Finance 1- [STRIKE]115[/STRIKE] Paid Jan 2017
Finance 2- 335
CC - [STRIKE]2000[/STRIKE]1800
OD 1 - [STRIKE]2200[/STRIKE] 1850
OD 2 - 25000 -
Mine is very on and off. I've not found a single bargain in the last few months but there are times when they put branded vitamins and minerals and various other things on clearance at either 50p or £1 and they are on 3 4 2, so a killer saving.
A few months ago, I found some Seventeen eyebrow sets down from about £10 to 25p and on 3 4 2 too. Now that's an awesome bargain.0 -
A few weeks ago I managed to bag 2 external batteries for mobile phones for £1.50 each. Handy for the children as they are always running out of battery.
I have also bagged some baby bits reduced to 50p and £1, handy for the hamper I am making up for my eldest daughter who is due in December.
Lately though they only seem to have odd bits of make-up and tampons.0 -
My large city centre boots scrapped all their advantage card machines over a year ago and never has reductions, I don't know how they get away with it as part of a national chain.0

the app is ok but you dont get as many offers...and dont activate the offers until you find a bargain as it automatically takes the money off when you swipe the card..ie i had a 10% off shampoo last week ..forgot i activated the offer so i got the money off my next shampoo purchase but the following day I got some more in the cheappie section so i would have got that even cheaper! ..it does save having a purse of coupons tho..just wish tesco would do this!!!im tray not davey...pinched my hubbys account!!!

Hmmm. Not a good move. There is normally a queue of people mainly pensioners checking their vouchers on the pink acm machine. Do a lot of people have these posh phones that can download apps?
I have noticed that they have taken all of the pink acm machines out of the big Leeds stores which I think is a shame. No more cheap or almost free items for me then! Boooo. They used to do £1 off certain item vouchers in the past from the pink acm machines which meant you got the item for free, for example, £1 off any Boots tea trea oil item and the face packs were 99p.:(:(

Be careful with this. I had 10% off deodorant activated on the app, and I picked it up when it was half price. They took the 10% off instead of the half price, so I paid more than the shelf price. I bought two and the woman was very confused why one was more expensive than the other!
Keep an eye on any purchases using the app discounts!
I have noticed that the app deals are better for me than the old machine offers were, and I don't have to visit to know what they will be!0
