Hey all compers!

Just wondering what's the most common way on winning prizes?! Like which websites are best to use?
I'm pretty new to comping that's why I ask

Thanks all and happy winning

You stand a chance from any sites that you enter competitions on. Bigger prizes = more entries = less chance. Smaller prizes = less entries = more chance. Do a mixture of both and at some point you should strike lucky.

Effort comps and those restricted to your local area also mean fewer entries, so more chance of winning.

This website is best to use :) and Some observations that might help you. Especially on Twitter!

Women & Bloggers - seem to get chosen mostly from what I have noticed, especially by big companies like those who sell mobile phones etc.

Beggers/Desperate Dans - Those who constantly bombard the company with messages and constantly retweeting the comp talking about how much they need or want to win.

Lies - I see the same names winning competitions quite often on Twitter, and they have usually won a similar prize before. Like say one week you notice they have just won a new iPhone 5s, a couple weeks later you will see them entering and winning for a new Xperia Z phone by talking how how they have an ancient phone which is so old and so cr*p and how badly they need a new one even though they know they just won one not long ago.

Thankfully I don't think the Sympathy vote works online. You get those people who start talking about how hard their life has been and all the suffering they have had with illnesses but how winning a pair of headphones will make it all better. You get the drift.
