So I have been Bankrupt for just over a week and can't believe the difference it has made so far... The clarity with which I can think, the sleep I am getting, my tolerance levels with regards to my Son.... All so much better.
Anyway I have my OR interview on Thursday so looking for any tips or advice xx

I had face to face, but if you're anything like me....the main tip I would give you is don't feel the need to fill the silence with waffle.
Make notes (I forgot everything that was said the moment I walked out of the door).
Don't be afraid to let them know that you want to take notes and take time to do so.....they are doing the same at their end so will understand that totally.
And don't be afraid to ask for time to think if you need it.
Also....tea and tissues.AD March 2014

Hi - The OR's usually ring on the dot of the timeappointed. I thought mine was a pretty simple case but I was on the phone for about an hour and a half - so - a few practical tips, not all are essential but I am a bit prone to over planning :
- Go to the loo
- Eat something (in case it is a long call)
- Lock the doors (I have a neighbour who is fond of calling'yooo hooo' as she breezes through the back door!)
- Shut any dogs in the garden or the kitchen - anywhere so they don't disturb you barking at the postman
- Have a drink to hand
- Turn off/silence any phone you are not using for this call
- Make sure the battery on your phone handset is fully charged
- Box of tissues - I was a bit weepy but not everyone is
- Note book and pen (easier to sit at the table to takenotes etc)
- Copy of your SOA and BR forms
Try not to talk though the 'pauses' - the OR will just be writing/typing so resist the urge to 'chatter' (I failed a bit on that one for thefirst half hour)
My OR was polite and to the point. Just answer the questions as honestly and simply as you can. It really isn't that scary - some folk on here get 10-15 mins, others get a bit of a marathon.
The object of the exercise for the OR is to understand as clearly as they can how you arrived at being BR, whether you have any assets and to determine ify ou have sufficient 'surplus' to warrant an IPA. Don't be afraid to ask questions or ask the OR to clarify or repeat a question.

Thank you all for your advice. My interview went well and was pretty straight forward - 40 minutes in total!0
