These will make very useful gifts for various relatives thoughout the year though.

  • This is a note I did for my Mum (she's new to all this MOCs & BOGOFs), if it helps anyone with the £3 off £12 dairy for Jus-Rol; with thanks to all the previous posters who've already explained this, from me:T

Get hold of a copy of the Tesco free instore magazine (the Chistmas one with the turkey on the front), turn to the inside back page and get the ‘£3 off £12 dairy’ coupon, bottom right, the one marked ‘December savings’. Coupon valid to end of the month.

Or if you can’t get a magazine instore, go to
    http://realfood.tesco.com/magazine-archive.html
download a PDF of the magazine and print out the voucher page — they should accept it instore.

The Jus-Rol puff pastry (£1.50), puff pastry light (£1.60), and shortcrust pastry (£1.50), are Buy One Get One Free — get eight of these, in twos of the same kind or multiples of twos. Or multiples of eight.

The till (manned and self-scan) sees a total purchase of £12, so you can use the £3 Off coupon. It also deducts the BOGOF. So .... £12 total goes down to £6 with BOGOF and then £3 off =
£3 to pay (or £3.80 if you’ve bought the Light variety), or approx 40p a packet.

    THEN....

Go to the Jus-Rol website and look for the Rewards scheme, or go to
    https://www.jusrol.co.uk/rewards
    or search for ‘Jus-Rol Rewards’
Register for the scheme (free), and enter the code numbers from your packets (max 3 per week).
Each code is worth 10 points, and for 70 points (or 7 packets) you can get a £5 supermarket voucher.

    SO...
    £3 paid, minus £5 voucher = £2 in profit

    Morning all

I've been and done all my food shopping, so once I've finished wrapping, I can relax a bit :D

Turkeys in Tesco were next to hopeless. I wanted a crown that would feed 8-9 people. Their biggest crowns were 3-4, so I ended up getting a whole turkey for 10-11 people. Much rather have too much than not enough. I can make it stretch :D

It was heaving with muggles, some had two big trollies overflowing

Morries was empty though :D I've queued for longer when I do a normal shop :rotfl:

I've got an oven pride kit so gonna go and put that to good use :)

  • Good morning everybody, I hope you are well and have a lovely Saturday. Happy shopping.
Mortgage debt 45,000. Thank you all for your help so far in helping me save to buy the house. I could not have done this without all your help.

More frustrating that you had actually got an order through that got cancelled than for the likes of me who missed it! Bought boxers n socks the other day and now they're reduced but sizes needed are oos. Wonder if I can return them and buy them back at cs? If I can get up. It's so dark.
:hello: The grass is not greener, it just looks that way from a distance :hello:
