Same here Flo, N/A in and out - was surprised when it compared, that's why I also posted T's result.

M price collection

Good [Strike]evening[/Strike] morning.
:)

Sadly the Special K Red Berries are not on half price in M, but are £2.69. Only the Original 400g, the Oats & Honey 375g and the Chocolate Curls 300g are on £1.34 in M.

Perhaps M might bring down the price of the Red Berries version seeing that one of the competitor supermarkets is offering them 'free'?
Although, it's t.com rather than T that is offering them 'free' ;) (with an online order) and t.com of course isn't a competitor of M, so maybe that explains.

It seems the A SP Chicken Wings were a glitch vs M. I have them as £2.19/kg in A (for packs of about 1kg and more). They are £2.48/kg in M but were comparing to about £1.86/kg for M last week. The ones I've found in M at that (£2.48/kg) price are very much lower than 1kg (and certainly outside of the 10% weight range) - they are about 600g-700g in my M.

I think what the APG price collectors may have done is to take, instead of the price per kg on the packs, the actual pack price (for around 600-700gs) and think that that was the per kg price. The actual pack prices, if they are like this in M more generally, are on a yellow background and rather more prominent than the price per kg. I suspect this is where the approx. £1.86/kg has come from - the price for about 700g, at £2.48/kg, is about that price!:rotfl:
It's also why my list last week had an "approx." price rather than the usual exact to several decimal-places pricing:D (as this was estimated from the result from a womble as, inevitably, I didn't pick up in M what seems to have been a glitched price on the APG - whether this will work this week or not is anyone's guess).

McVities 24 pack Jaffa cakes are back at £1.09 in M, for anyone who wants to try anything out on those:rotfl::rotfl:
.

Quite a significant amount of change in M this week compared to last week - a couple of areas that haven't changed are the fresh ready meals and the frozen packs although a couple more items perhaps to add to the latter. The body/face washes/wipes etc. have completely changed. There are, as you have already discovered, some Johnson's Make-up Be Gone Wipes at £1.49 in M - those are not the only Johnson's 25 wipes packs that are on that price in M I can tell you!

Quite a lot of change in the tea/coffee area. I guess any 'highlights' ought to mention the Tetley Soft Pack Tea Bags (240 per pack), now on 'flash offer' in M (£2.89, theoretical maximum of 6), due to end 22/9/13. On the coffees, lots of change: off the Kenco Cappuccinos and onto the Nescafe Cappuccinos instead for example! Other Kencos and Nescafes to be added and others to be removed.

Another of the (many) changes is in the biscuit bars/cereal bars areas. The Kellogg's Nutri-grain Crunchy Oat products - Oat Honey, Oat Cinnamon, Oat Chocolate Chip are now £1 until 22/9:T
. If you think the Nutri-Grains at the end of the 'Cereals' section on last week's list, or the Elevenses, are still on half price in M, think again! Both sets of items are back up to full price. So are the Nutri-Grain and Belvita biscuit bars that appear earlier on last week's list.

The minor 'frustrations' tonight - they weren't that frustrating at all, just more laborious - were the crisps aisle (lot of change there) and around those Nutri-Grains in the cereals aisle, but extending to the Kellogg's Biscuit Moments that are now on 99p.

So I find myself going to be adding back onto the list those items, such as those ones, that I remember removing not that long ago:mad:
.

As regards what's on offer each week in M (and doubtless the other supermarkets but of course I'm doing M), you may as well roll some dice to decide which products will be on offer. I wonder if that's how they decide what to put on offer - perhaps they have a system that randomly picks from certain product ranges or perhaps they roll a few dice to decide.

As for the crisps, the Mighty Lights are still on. I'm having to take several ranges off though and add some Walker's Deep Ridged crisps, and others, on there instead.

The Rice Krispies cereal bars are now 99p (due till 13/10).

Three Rustler's products are now (for Tvs M perhaps?) £1.00 in M - Chicken Sandwich 150g, Hot Dog 146g and BBQ Rib 170g. This appears to be all that M now stock of the Rustler's range, as all the other Rustler's products they used to have have now been changed to a different brand.

Looking for elsewhere perhaps, the Pampers Simply Dry at are £5, Huggies Pull-Ups back down to £2.74*, and, for the 3 for £5, it's possible there may be some Lil Lets to buy in 2s with a trigger. Sanex Showers 500ml are at £1.49 and Sanex Baths 650ml at £1.57. Pantene 400ml Shampoos and 2 in 1s and 360ml Conditioners are at £1.84 each.

The John Friedas are now '2 for £7' in M. I suppose you want me (having removed them all not very long ago - from being on 3 for £10.00/£3.33 each) to put them all back on the list again??
;):mad: Oh, alright then..I will:) (if M turns out best price on that - or maybe best unit price when buying 2 and using a 3rd item as a trigger in a mix and match elsewhere).

You have to bear with me this week though. (So much else to change!)

Shower/Handwash-wise - not normally good to compare to these 'expensive' 'half-price' branded item prices but maybe they are part of a mbuy with a glitch poss. elsewhere - they do merit mention though as they usually go down to around £1 or 99p - there are Palmolive Natureals (showers) 250ml at 86p (until 13/10) and Palmolive 'Hygiene-Plus' handwashes (300ml) at the same price - including Fresh, Aquarium, Moisturising etc. They are probably £1 in A - which clearly isn't as low as 86p. However, that 86p is more expensive than 'any 4 for £3' (the other usual A offer on that range).

There's loads more - including deos and toothpastes - I ought to mention there that the Colgate Pro Relief 75ml are £2.37 in M but the non-Pro Relief sensitives (same size) are £1.39. Different varieties, different versions and that was also an area of 'frustration' (or, rather, laboriousness) - details duly obtained (laborious... but not boring:)) - sensitives, total advances, deep cleans, pro reliefs, pronamels etc. etc. - precise products and prices for each to be checked and to be announced (if it turns out M is cheapest)!

Oh - the Blackberries (150g) are still £1 in M this week! And perhaps get out the Campbell's MOCs again - the Condensed soups are now at 50p each in M:T. But not the Vegetable one. That was on 50p RTC last week - but this week it is everything (that M stocks of that product) except for the Vegetable. So take the Vegetable off the list and put every other version on there:rotfl::rotfl::mad::rotfl::cool:.

Some items that were removed last week (as not found or the odd one missed
:o here and there) to be put back onto the list this week, as found to still be on. I can understand how the APG (and presumably also T PP) return with prices one week and N/A the next, as they are found and then not found and then found once again. I am having the same experience instore in M!

This week, the Savers Frozen Mixed Veg has mysteriously vanished - no SEL at all - yet a SEL for the Savers Sprouts (1kg) - remember them? - has now appeared, with no product though, at 75p. Shame A don't stock SP Sprouts. As for the SP Mixed Veg., I think it may now be vs T only, as this may be a similar situation to the SP Cloths and SP Scourers the equivalents in and out of stock in M. They've been back for a few weeks now, and should reappear on the APG - but whether they actually will or not...

The Savers Toilet Gel has clearly now been back for some weeks - and the SP Macaroni Cheese tins has established itself back at the price of 40p.

Bryant and May Extra Long Matches and Cook's Safety Matches are on mix and match 2 for £1 (the offer label says until 13/10).

For those shopping in M itself, Savers Table Salt 1kg (already the cheapest per g, even compared to post-APG prices on other sizes and versions vs others) has seen a 9p price reduction - now down to 25p. However, this was found out of stock when I visited! Clearly people are desperate for a 'few pence' bargain price!

The bacon (that seemed to have changed in range last week) has now reset to the ones it was before.

And finally, for those shopping in M once more, there are Goldenfry Gravy Granules (I only found the 'for Chicken' version) - 400g for 300g packs - at 98p RTC.

Oh, the Surf 25s at £3 (not quite 10p/wash but getting close perhaps) and I've got the prices of all Persil S&M Bios I found. More later if they should turn out to work out best vs M.

That's it for now (I think!):D:D
.

I'll not be able to update anything overnight (as usual) - so see you later!! Bye.
:):)

*These may not be best prices vs M by the way as the other competitors are yet to be checked (on msm).

Yes, but there was a 5g smaller version a couple of weeks ago in M (which I tried - unsuccessfully - to link in with a product from A) that was much cheaper than 5g adjustment off in M. 50p for me (for 35g) too expensive for 35g!:D:rotfl:

[Edit - I'll study all these good comparisons, and triggers, later!:rotfl::j:j:D:).]
