:hello:It's way too late/early now to get to Avs T/Avs S so apologies for that, in the meantime I've left some new lists (for those comparing vs A). Also - for Northern Ireland - you can add items like Jif Lemon 55p S vs 20p A (in the rest of the UK would be Avs W).
Good morning!!:):)
It's goodbye:wave: from me now.:cool:0 -
Thank you WitchHazel, nice list there:)
Savvybuyer would ya hate me, if I asked you to post your lists in the way Witchy has? Pretty pllllleeeeaaasssseeee x 100, pleaseeeeeeeeeeee, I tell you why I said that, because I'd love to benefit from your lists but being the ditsy blondie I am, I don't atm as I don't understand them. Feel free to ignore me, it is just a request and you are of course entitled to post as you wish

And there's some more real good ideas in Witch Hazel's post above.
Except I'm getting rather drawn in by the Imperial Leather (by my fondness for it):eek: - the price per unit on A's price is even more expensive than that for the Dove Cream 6 pack at £2.00 that's way off-limit for me (too expensive;)). And the Peppa Pig Plasters??? SP Plasters etc. at 41p vs T, much cheaper. (Although the cheaper ones some say don't fix. Some of the Elastoplast 40s at the mo. are A vs T, as well as the Elastoplast Fabric Dressing 10.)
Also, having my doubt - shall I add it, shall I not? - about 'near-miss' Scholl Dry Skin Recovery Cream (60g) T £4.99 S £3.50 A £3.00, on the grounds that I suspect someone will manage to get it on an RTC at way below £3 and send me to shame. If not however it is, barring that situation, perhaps okay T or S vs A?

Hi there - feedback welcome, as always, and taken on board, but unfortunately no, as my initial view is, because of the way the lists are compiled, it would take far more time than it already takes for them to be put in that format. I'll consider it further though (as to whether there is any way to do it or get around this problem). Maybe someone else can help convert some of the info. once it's on here from me?
I am thinking of double-spacing so the items can be more easily read - although that unfortunately has the knock-on of making the posts even more lengthy. I can see how the descriptions of products can be confusing, although also I need to precise as we know how important it is to buy the exact right item for comparison. The pictures do have the benefit of being able to see the item and look for them instore - I used to print off my own shopping lists from msm.co.uk by using CTRL + P and taking that to the shops (just to make sure I got the right item, especially with ones that always used to confuse me, like numerous beauty products each slightly different names, probably all doing the same thing:rotfl:). But the printing off using the pictures used to take up too many pages - and they would cut off the names of the items at some points anyway, and the pictures get blurred off, so I couldn't see exactly what to buy.
Now I print off lists with the product names (showing product and prices at both stores - the one being shopped in and the competitor I'm comparing to - except for Morries, I usually print a random Avs T or S for that) and, for the few items that I don't know well or fear I will pick up the wrong one, I print off the product page for that one (showing the comparison and having the picture of the product there). That's just how I now do things. I don't know if you use MSM or are trying to go solely from this forum and from my posts? My suggestion is you'll likely know the sorts of items you'd normally get - the more obscure ones you may find it useful to go onto msm.co.uk and have a look/print their product page out, to help you.
Funkyfeet - and everyone, folks - I know my new Tvs A (in particular) at the moment is a complete confusion, of products in no order in particular at all. My apologies for that, I'll try and order it if I get time (although being honest I doubt I will) - I can only say perhaps go down the full list but taking out/writing down the products that you want from it. As FC said the other day, it's for me and others to post all the info. and for others to find it (and make whatever use of it as they will).
Another long post....!:rotfl::rotfl:
Bye folks!:):):j0
