I used to write down every comp I entered and when it ended etc and wrote down 800 comps time waster and waste of paper and only won 2 prizes now I don't bother writing it down I also seem to win more strange.0

I have been using a book marking system since about the beginning of April,,
In FF, I drag comp links, that I want to enter, from MSE and put them in to folders on my bookmark tool bar, I then enter them in order of end date.
This system has saved me a huge amount of time, as I'm spreading the work of entering comps over several months.
I also use the red cross to indicate what I have looked at and bookmarked, and green ticks after I have entered a comp.0 -
^ I think that would take more sorting/bookmarking/deleting than just entering them as I see them?? I'm trying to work out the best way to get things streamlined to take as little time as poss
The only list I keep is of wins now.
I've recently changed to end date comping, mainly as I can't afford to give much time to it and can't keep up with them as they are posted. This seems slightly less time consuming although some get missed if they are 1 day ones. Apart from the last day of the month  sometimes it's as few as 5 pages which is great! Then I get each day's comps emailed in the daily email and have a quick wizz through for anything I really like the look of and enter that straight away, just so I don't miss it if I am behind with the end date comping.
Am trying to be very selective too, so if I only have an hour or two to spare I only enter for things I really want or at least that's the plan.. :rotfl:0 -

Sorting is very easy in FF, once I've compiled a list of bookmarked links, I can right click on the folder and select Sort by Name, this puts all the bookmarks in order of end date.
I delete as I work through them, by right clicking and selecting delete.0 -
Hi everyone sorry if this has been posted before but how to do keep track of the comps you enter? Do you have a system?
Indeed but it is very complicated using a colour coding system and numbering based on the maya calender I could tell you but then I would have to kill you..
It is very successful as can be seen by my sausage win and my victory in a recent small African election.Rational judgement, now, at this very moment.

Another "system" that I employ on here is pure randomness.I often click on the link here to lead ..........Today's most popular
I just scan for comps that interest me & do not have a green tick.I often do not enter comps that I have posted as I post them so this can often spot these as well. This is mainly a time thing as when I'm posting a few comps I tend not to do entries at the same time, especially when I have a few to post.
I will often leap around the page numbers in a pure random way & see what turns up :-)0 -
