Is it the right etiquette to unfollow & unlike?

After a competition winner has been announced on facebook and twitter is it wrong to unfollow/unlike them soon after? I know some competitions run weekly ie Giraffe restaurants weekly twitter competition but if the competition is a once in a while do you carry on following or liking them?

I personally do but that is just my choice.

I keep liking if it's a big company who are likely to run more, if it's just some random insurance firm I don't care about I'll unlike when/if I remember (I don't actively make a note too though, too lazy :D)

I go through my lists every few months and unlike as needed.

I also go through the apps and delete any of them too.

Rarely unfollow on Twitter, just the ones that I would not have followed except for a competition.

Unfortunately both Facebook and Twitter set like limits and I keep reaching mine leaving me with no choice but to unlike some so I can like new ones.
I really don't like doing it though :(

I tend to unlike or unfollow the companies who are hardly known and have just run the one comp. If it is a company who runs regular comps then I stay liking or following.
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

I run small comps on Twitter, since I started running them at the end of last year have had an issue with people unfollowing as soon as 1 comp ends, and then refollowing just before next draw. So in the interest of fairness, I have now started blocking so that prizes are for regular followers. I know a lot of small businesses also block people who unfollow as soon as a comp ends, with big companies it won't be an issue as they would find it hard to keep check. xx

You can follow 2001, if you have close to 2001 followers yourself, its 2001 plus 10% or thereabouts xx

2001 will be the maximum you can follow unless you have lots of followers, what I used to do in this case was scroll through who I am following from day 1, takes ages I admit and then unfollow those I had been following from day 1, quite a few will no longer be active (in my experience) xx
