Yes, absolutely. If the one that's been spotted this lunchtime, but soon after, there were 1000+ multibuys and now several thousand, it may only last part of a day or a few hours - depends when you do your shop and (possibly) the time you enter the receipt in.

As regards buying now the glitch is over, but entering when the multibuy is off again (or two days after the multibuy goes off, or the day when others confirm it is a glitch day), this may not work: I had one receipt two or three months back, with a multibuy item that later went on a glitch, I waited till glitch day and entered it - but it returned with the multibuy. Glitches worked on receipts from that day, but not from shops done on a previous day. (Which raises the point - unresolved - of when a day starts and ends - e.g. what if a shop was done early hours of a glitch day, but before the glitch has entered the APG system, assuming that it even works that way?)
Hello, if your theory is right the next glitch won't last long then. I watched my 'basket of goods in adsa' price change before my eyes on msm yesterday, so had a look at the number of multibuys in savvy buys. I watched it go down over a couple of minutes from 30 to 9 then zero, but it only stayed at zero for about 5 minutes before going back up to over 1000 multibuys 10 minutes later, and by a further 20 minutes was back over 3000. I can't spot a predictive pattern here other than 'watch out, something is happening' but you can probably see something that I can't! I think the real strength of this forum is how fast any results are posted. Both good and bad comparisons are passed on really fast, so we can all profit or minimise losses as the case may be. And it helps that most people are warm, helpful and supportive of each other too.

    Afternoon everone :)

    from shop this morning.

Skincare spend £12, APG sees £20, S price £13.08. APG for these items £8.22.

Reason for posting is that logic says that you should be able to get three of the Olay Wipes for £6 and get an APG of £5.14 (28p per pack), but I think someone tried this and it didn't work? The ones here are the "Olay Total Age Defying Wet Cleansing Cloths" in the purple pack - did those that tried it get the ones in the blue pack? The purple ones only seem to show for S on msm - comparing at £4 A vs £2.54 S

Another theory to put out there is that when the APG updates from MyS, if the APG happens to do an update at the same time the multibuys have disappeared off MyS means they won't show on the APG but would show on MyS once the multibuys reappear. Depending on how long they are gone for could mean the difference between one or two not being picked to !!!! loads.

But what are the chances of APG updating at the time as multibuys disappearing.......

    Very hit and miss.
Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
