    What did I miss?

"4. All comparable products are included in the Price Guarantee (unless they are part of promotions which make fair comparisons difficult)." Possibly this?

    I was trouted today.

My mum recently lost her job and still has my 2 sisters to look after so I took her asda with me (a different store thats closer to her house) and gave her one of my vouchers and helped her get some glitchy cereal. I went though the till first and the trout SA said we don't take vouchers over £10. Mine was £11.20. I said yes you do, you don't take ones over £15. She wouldn't have it so called the manager.

A SV walked over and took them then accused me of altering my apg!!!
I said no, and said that I do it all from my iPhone app straight to the printer and even showed her but she was having none of it.

Manager turns up and says its store policy to not accept ones over £10. The trout started saying 'but how can she get a voucher for £11 when she only spent £15'

The manager did apologise but said he wouldn't accept my voucher but to call asda house and talk to them. Fair enough.

Then I used an £8 apg on my mums shop :D

AND THEN..... A security tag was left on one of the JF products so the same guy came over and we had to take all the shopping out of the pram and everything.

    I was mortified.

Phoned asda house and have a gift card coming my way.

Will be back to asda tomorrow.

How awful xxlouise56 - I hope not put your Mum off. Interesting .. been to Asda today really pleasant SA presented with £12.85 apg - she said I will have to call SV to put this through. We waited along time for superviser ......almost late for hospital.. anyhow while waiting she just said "oh don't worry any apg over £10 needs to have an override to put through till - only supervisor can do that". When S arrived she just saw it was an APG and put through without looking at amount pleasant enough but she just talked to superviser (they have their special key to override) - maybe she's seen a lot of these.

I wonder if Asda have sent another of their huddle notes which perhaps is as similarly ambiguous as last weeks'? So the jobs worth Managers/trouts and anally retentive are chosing to interpret it their way. God knows why vouchers over £10 need an override when they have set the bar cap at £15!

  • Just a heads up this morning confirmed that the Flash power mop refill spray & the flash power mop pads still worked.....

Looked on MS and they now state N/A at Waitrose? Might not work now...
  • Hi Budgie

I did not receive my APG after on line shop either. I followed others advice on here and emailed sada. They rang me the following day took my details and within an hour the value of my apg was in my account.

I have done another shop which I'm waiting for an apg e voucher from too. I hope I don'h have to speak to them again as I'm a bit of a wimp and hate complaining!!

Hi I have had my vouchers now this afternoon, one poster was told they have to wait 48hrs first for comparable and then 7 days from then. Still at 12 days I would contact them.

If you don't want to phone you could email, however some posters have waited ages for a response to their email.

But 12 days really is too long.

    Budgie xxx
