Freezing the age allowance is totally justifiable, I have never understood why a relatively well off pensioner should have better tax allowances than a poorly paid teenager.

Anyone else think that the Deputy Speaker has done a really good job? I prefer him to Bercow.

Incidentally, I see that Milliband just got back at the Wallace and Grommet dig with one about Downton Abbey.

Its a shame we can't get someone who speaks the queens English, as opposed to northern monkeys.

Did anyone see PMQ's? The north east werent happy. Chancellor mentioned more Greggs though, which should make t' North happy.

If you're "dumb and lazy" I doubt you're earning enough to pay any income tax, if you do work.

I have to say, I really don't understand why they would carry on with the 3p fuel duty addition, but raise no extra money on alcohol.

At least people can choose whether they drink alcohol and choose how much they pay for it.

in the 3 companies i've worked in over the last 15 years, i've see plenty of dumb and lazy people get to positions undeserved simply down to mates in the right places.
