Well done Jonty! I much prefer that hug to the 'pervy' Mse one!
Spent 2 hours in A&E with FD, turns out she's got ear infection and stomach bug. FB's have gone home now but coming back half term, ace!

I really don't like spending money on mobile phones, I put £10 on and it usually lasts 6 - 9 months. I use free texts on Internet whenever I can. I have DD1's old phone, I like it as it has a proper keyboard that slides out.

My oh thinks I'm a tramp. He came to Mr T's with me today and I wombled a few receipts. I didn't care and just carried on looking for them.

Tell him to join in ;)

Sighted one in a trolley yesterday (Mother and baby type with the blue baby seats) and thought here we go so clambered in amongst them to reclaim said receipt and first thing noticed was that it was from 31/12  but mainly £80 spend and lots of alcohol so had high hopes....Dunno how it could have been there for 3 weeks unless someone dumped it recently but anyhow their loss, produced a 'Sorry'....and £9.07 TPG which is way my best ever other than deliberate ones ;):j:j

I totally agree with you Jeff, you & I have the same thinking;) I think its a waste of £££ to give the kids monthly top up when mine can last me 1 - 2 years for £10 top up.

Am babysitting so need to get DGC ready for bed before Sherlock starts at 8pm. Saw it last Sunday and just have to watch it again (is that something I should be admitting?). I think I've worked out what may have happened but need to see again in case I missed something. Love the programme and can't understand why they only release the series in 3 episodes each time. I need more!

ahhh!!!!!!!!!!!! why is it that sons are more troublesome than daughters?

I found the sim that I wanna get for him as we are with virgin I can get this one :-

    V irgin Media £5.00 - 30 day rolling contract
    SIM card cost FREE
    Your tariff gives you:
    • 3000 minutes to other Virgin mobiles
    • 100 minutes
    • 3000 texts
Now he is telling me that he is going to buy 2nd hand blackberry from "his" friend and the phone is on Orange:eek: and it could be locked too.:eek: He said Orange is doing £10/month - me said there is no way me will pay £10/month & he said "I'll contribute the other £5" me said " where are you going to get the money?" he said " I have some" me said ok, what happen when you run out of money?"

I don't give any of my kids pocket money - they only get monies from me when they need to buy something with my approval.

My son is a bit crafty! he gets £2 a day for school dinner & he will not spend all £2 any change he built it up:mad::mad: kept teling him to eat proper lunch food & if he needs more than £2 for food me willing to give but knowing him, he keeps it!

Told him when I was his age - I dont have this type of priviledge. He said "well, we are living in a modern world and I have more friends than you". Cheeky bu99er
