Credit file satified dates

Hi,
Been over 3 yrs since br and i cleaned my file credit file up not long after being discharged, i have just viewed my equifax file since the clean up after discharge and although all creditors have acknowledged that the accounts are satisfied i notice that some of the satisfied dates are incorrect. I was br on the 16 July 2008 and discharged 1 yr after so should these settled dates be the time of br or the date discharged?
How would i go about getting the correct dates applied?
Thanks

As I understand it all dates should be on or before date of BR so all debts drop off when BR does (or before) but not after.
Check through the Clean Up thread as there's various sample letters in there which should be able to help you. When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

They should be the discharge date or before.
Not really critical though, as long as they do show as settled and the default dates are correct.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

I have also noticed that although the creditors have marked my cf as settled and included settlement dates many have not updated the default date to the time i was made br....they are left blank, i have browsed the section on credit clean up on here and it refers to the default date that needs to be correct so it can fall off the file in six years.
am i right in thinking the default date needs to be the same date as being made br so that after 6 years they all fall of my file at the same time or is it 6 years after the settlement date?
Thanks
MOVE ALONG........ nothing to see here..! :rolleyes:0 -
If the account isn't marked a defaulted, then it will stay for 6 years from the settlement date instead.
But if it's genuinely not marked as defaulted, that's not a big deal.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
