  • this one Blockbuster Fb Starts 29/11 is going to need an mse thread as the mention of it on their fb wall gives a link to the website where it says buy anything form their gift guide to be netered to a draw but on the comp page there are already a few comps up all with end dates towards end of december. i cant decide which if any actually belong to an advent.

if any of these comps that people are just giving you links direct to the comp in here rather than posting an mse thread need posting ill happily do so if the people who found them dont want to...i dont want to tread on anyones toes by posting though, nor if people think a link in here direct to website is sufficient do i want to annoy anyone by posting them in a thread.....what do others think of direct links only in this thread?

and sorry, would i be correct in assuming that if a direct link is posted in here it has been searched and confirmed it is not duplicated by being posted as well? or do i need to search and check each one too?

No i don't search the forum everytime someone leaves a link here, im usually uptodate on mse so know if somethings been posted, today a bit diff as i have a houseful of kids, I don't understand if people have posted a link in this thread, why u want a direct link? it's just as easy when u open the relevant comp to click once more throught that post to the comp, it means the op gets the recognition they deserve xxx

If a thread is needed as answers will be needed i have before asked to op nicely if they will make a thread so then it's easier and keeps this thread from becoming too manic.

If i've misunderstood what u mean please say. xxxxx

The blockbuster post at the time the op didn't have all details to hand, i'll have a look and maybe put purchase needed or remove it depending on whats involved xx

Hi, the link you refer to is just one back to their site, on FB you cant share posts that dont have something linked to it so they must have added that link so the post could be shared to get more people aware of the upcoming competition. this is C&P'ed from their page, posted by them nearly half an hour ago:

If you didn't WIN this time don't worry, from now until Christmas day we'll be giving something away to our Facebook followers EVERYDAY! We have a fantastic range of prizes including Blu-ray players, games consoles and SIGNED posters! The first one will be up on our wall later today!

So, no purchase will be required, just a daily entry on their FB page :)

i was more thinking are the people who posted links searching, your keeping on top of the thread and updating it all the time i dont expect you to search too. ill search then in case they are also posted, dont want to disqualify myself by enteirng form here and then also finding it on main or in dailies id be gutted if i did for some of them and i am not blessed with a decent memory that means i know if ive already posted something or not.

i dont mean a direct link in the op...im quite happy to have a post to thank and will open the comp from that...i mean do they also want a thread on mse...maybe im completely wrong, or maybe its fine for advents to have different things, but all dailies and weeklies are required to be posted in an entirely new thread and a thread link given in the post, some of the advents are not being done that way...so i was asking do they want posting separately or not (i think). again im worrying about duplicating entries if they end up posted in multiple places or multiple times.

dont worry about it...just pretend i didnt say anything.
