Prize not arrived...what do I do?

At the beginning of last month (10/9) I had an email to say I had won a prize and it would be with me within the week - it wasn't so I emailed them to let me know (as they had asked me to do this).
The company responded and said wait a few more days and let them know - still no prize so I emailed them again to inform them - no response!! I have since them emailed them on a number of occasions - just asking if they could let me know what is going on - I know that the emails are getting there and being read as I request a read response etc to the ones I send. Yet they are ignoring them and are not replying/answering.
I have looked on their website and there doesn't seem to be any other way or anyone else to contact regarding this.
Do I just now assume - as they are refusing to reply to my emails - that I will not be getting my prize? I would really like to inform someone in the company as I think its rude that they are not answering my emails and just ignoring me (if the prize has got lost and they refuse to send me a new one at least I would know and could maybe try and see if I can find/get it).
Has anyone else ever had problems like this? If so what did you do?
Many many thanks for any help and responses - I really appreciate it.

This is from VelvetGlove's fantastic Comping Guide:
"The Institute of Sales Promotions complaints@isp.org.uk lay down the guidelines which comp organisors must follow. MSE Compers have reported that they are very good at investigating dodgy comps & missing prizes with one chap in particular Edwin Mutton, being an absolute star. "
I would send one final polite email stating that you will contact the ISP if you don't receive a satisfactory reply within 48 hours, hopefully that should do the trick
Good luck, it's sooooo annoying when that happens :mad:0 -
Thank-you very much for taking the time to post and the information - really do appreciate it.
Will email them in a minute mentioning about the guidelines etc.
Thank-you again
EDIT - email sent - I imagine that I now will not get the prize but if they reply stating that I have 'lost' it I will give ISP a quick email just to see what they say.
Thanks again - as you say its a real pain and takes out the excitment and enjoyment of winningThank-you to all of you who posts competitions and/or answers  And a big well done to all winners :T0 -

oh no what did you win??
It was a Jackie Collins Goody Bag - not a big prize compared to most but I think its the fact that they are ignoring me and not answering my emails that has got me wound up over this. I know that stuff goes missing and, if they turned round and said that this is the case at least I would know and could possibly look into it with Royal Mail - but the fact that they are blantely ignoring my emails (I always request a sent and read receipt so I know that they have got there and they have been read!!!) and now refusing to correspond well
EDIT - have just had 2 receipt emails so mine has arrived and been read - watch this space!Thank-you to all of you who posts competitions and/or answers  And a big well done to all winners :T0 -
I have been chasing a prize for months and when I mentioned the ISP last night, I finally got an email response - they claimed to have not received my others, surprise surprise as soon as I mention complaining that email reaches them!
Its definately worth going through the ISP, they have sorted 2 of my wins out and are currently looking at a third.0 -

Thank-you - thats good to know - not that you have had to chase prizes but that the ISP will and have helped. I know that my emails have arrived as, for things like that, I click on sent receipt and read receipt.
Good luck with yours as wellThank-you to all of you who posts competitions and/or answers  And a big well done to all winners :T0
