This Forum strand's title is:
Special Occasions and Celebrations

I choose it deliberately -

So many of you know [mumof twins]Julia and Tony[italiantony], and Julia's fine twins, Felicity and Adam.

The truism that Bad Things Happen to Good People is one they fully know.

Through her own horrific struggles, bankruptcy and homelessness, the remarkable Julia has had the unwavering love, constancy and support of her wonderful soulmate, Tony. We offered support, friendship and advice, virtual and actual, but Tony has been the loving rock, the unwavering anchor, the ever present.

They even share a birthday.

In April, Julia had this grim news about Tony and cancer:

It has now moved on, too fast, way too fast.

I am now asking EVERY ONE OF YOU, who read any of Julia's or Tony's posts, to celebrate something simple in your day and bring it here for them.

Perhaps leave a note in your, or any, Church or special place, for them. Or just bring their names into your thoughts at some calm, special, or comfort moment in your day. Please just think of them and let them know here.

Every thought can be a dedicated gift-tag for Tony and Julia.

I left one on the no.7 bus into Cambridge yesterday afternoon and now in Holy Trinity, Bottisham.

Next......?

What awful news. Although I read most of the original posts from mumoftwins, and followed the trials and tribulations, I must admit I lurked and never posted. My heart goes out to them, I have no words of wisdom despite going through the same with my mother several years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
 you are as you are, if you aren't as you ought to be.

I did the race for life for them a few weeks ago - didn't raise a whole lot of cash as the school had recently been asking and everyone had donated them. But my friend managed to raise £2000 for everyone she knows who has had cancer xx
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.
