Clearly the OP needs to get out more, I have been pretty bored in my time but I just get through it by surfing sites with naked women on them.
Sad as that may be it has to be better than living a walter mitty existence and making up boring threads on MSE0 -
What about the multiple months arrears from Jan 2010 - Forgotten them?

And the £990K that Abbey were reclaiming from you?

VickyHurn, thanks for your concern - But please if you can't help, don't post.
Considering this account is used by two or more people, then I am afraid you are wrong, and this is quite a grown up forum, so don't go posting "guessing games" in a quite serious thread that I have created.
never-in-doubt - I will follow this up straight away, it's what we have been told by a few banks as they have stated within 3 months everything will be fine with them and us.0 -

Hi
Regards to the other posts people dug-up, this is expected cos we do get a lot of wind-up-merchants and people don't like wasting time, if it is a shared username then fine - but bear in mind the users here were not aware of that and obv reading the other posts straight away it made sense why you would be refused further lending.
Regards to your claim other banks have said the same, can you provide a letter from one of them - i'll then guide you through a complaints process which will allow you to claim compensation from them, via the FOS cos they are lying - but you need it in writing. I personally, do not think several banks would get this wrong - maybe there is other things they are scared about and are using this as they just do not know why underwriting refused you - or they do not want to say!
Point is, one late payment (categorically) cannot and will not have any affect on future lending decisions, it is ignored in its entirety!2010 - year of the troll
