There's no such thing as a stupid question, and even if you disagree courtesy helps.<<

This is showing up in a box on the right hand side of my screen. I am a newbie and have to admit that the few questions I have asked have been answered politely but am still reluctant to ask anything because there is so much flaming in this forum - it just goes on and on. There would only be half the messages to get through if there wasn't so much !!!!!ing!

Just wanted to pick up on something said earlier by one of the peeps from ESA about some people seem to apply for everything. Well if they had a better allocation system then perhaps people wouldn't have to apply for everything.

If I see 10 jobs that I can do, should I seriously only apply for 5? Where is the logic in that?

When this kind of work is your only income then surely we need to keep our diaries full of work and therefore apply for as much work as we can possibly do?

Have to say that the cruel streak in me loves it when they get let down by someone....they should try and look after their good shoppers.

    Rant over....

Ok, can anyone help me with this one please? I received an email from Gapbuster last night saying my account status has now changed and all my remaining McDonalds assignments had been cancelled! I have been working for them for just over a year now without any problems. Why I do not know. Can I re-register with them so that I can get access to all the jobs again or will they suss me out?

In my area there as still around 20 egg shops needing done. They have moved the end date to Friday but I work full time weekdays so can't do any more.

I did 5 at the weekend and 3 windows. Of course the windows weren't in the same town as the egg shops, they gave those to someone else.

Deedee - if you give them a call and explain that you work Mon - Fri and could do x number of jobs on saturday if they extended the date you might find them very accomodating ;)

Going over old ground again, but there would only be a quarter of the messages to go through if people read the opening thread which I, and several others, have taken time to compile, and even less if people bothered to search the thread to see if their question had already been asked before asking it again!

More and more often nowadays the same questions are being asked time and time again, sometimes on the same page as it has already been asked and answered!

Remove client name from your post please.

Gapbuster do tend to sack people for no obvious reason although usually it's after you've given a bad report to the burger company.

I'm not going to say it's OK to re-register but if they suss you out they will obviously sack you again!

Thanks jc but this Saturday I'm doing 7 crisps, 4 phones, 1 bookie, 2 travel shops, and a meal. (have to get to the meal by 2.30 and its a 45 minute drive).

I could have done lots more last Saturday but they give you such little notice. I like to plan ahead.

Sorry, first time I have posted in this forum. Not very friendly is it - first impressions and all that!

Two points; it's nothing to do with being friendly or not - you signed a non disclosure form when you signed up with gap (and by mentioning client names here you're breaking it). Secondly, how hard is it to miss the thread title?
