I'm not sure actually but I would recommend it even if you just use it to get cashback when buying car insurance as mine was £70 back

I would only use a credit card as you are protected but if you have a debit card then I completely agree with you

Hi I think I must be doing something wrong. I am managing cashinco and built up quite a bit in there, but quidco I just don't get. I have only 2 sites in my favourites which I think are kelkoo and high street and the rest of the clicks are % for things I can't afford/don't need. Can somebody point this dim bird in the right direction?

    Hi Lucielle

If you PM me your email address I have a list of merchants on Quidco that you can sign up to for free trials etc. I got the list from another member on here and I have about £30 pending from using it. One example was ordering business cards for my friend which she needed anyway and all it cost was the postage which she paid and I got £9 tracked through Quidco.

I have sent it to a few people who have asked for it and everyone seems to be finding it useful so far.

There is a really good thread on here dedicated to Quidco too which is good to subscribe to. I don't know how to put a link in here but it should be near the top of the freebies board.

    Marie :)

Bit of a boring one but just looking for a few opinions really..

What are the tax aspects of daily clicks & cashback? On the 'Cashback Rewards' site FAQ it says you should report their payments to Inland Revenue and pay tax on them as income, does anyone do this? If so how exactly do you go about this if you are not doing tax self assessment anyway.. i.e if you are on PAYE normally. Could probably ask this in tax forum also but thought you guys might have more experience specific to the subject..
  • Been reading this thread over the last few days and am interested to give this a go.
Have PM'd EagerLearner to ask for the guide (Hope you've received my Email EL). Looking forward to reading it - sounds like you have put a lot of effort into this.

Not working towards anything specific. With 2 young kids, I've got more than enough expenses to absorb any money I hope to make. Having said that, I would like to put some money towards a family holiday next year - hopefully our first skiing holiday.

Hi Siuloong - maybe ask on a tax board - as far as I know everyone gets an allowance of around £5200 a year (ie, they can earn that before they get taxed). For most people in employment, the company they work for will use that allowance to lower your Tax and NI over the 12 months you are employed. This means you would need to declare any income you have raised in addition to your normal salary. If you are unemployed, you can earn up to that limit per year with no tax - but do check it out as it depends on your circumstances.

Welcome to Pilato and anyone else who has just started! I have e-mailed out the latest guides, do ask any questions on here if you have any. The key is to clear cookies, do your clicks, clear cookies, move on to the next cashback same and do the same etc.
