I'm concentrating on those Ruby Wax bags as well nowbut I can't see them being reduced for a while. Have to say that I'm really impressed by em - probably because you can see all your bits and bobs in them
They still had the TB bags locally, though there was less stock. I'm still going to hang on thoughOh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -
:j Oh Just posting this to get to my 200th post!!:j
And to keep this on topic.......................
I LOVE BOOTS (but my bank manager doesn't!!):rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
And I've now got two stars!!!!!0 -
Can anyone please tell me about the vouchers in these sets:
Charlie set of spray, nail polish and headphones (square box with pink rope handle) - is there a voucher in here that is still in date? I'm about to send it to my niece for her birthday and don't want to leave an out-of-date voucher inside.
17 pink bag with purple ribbon handle containing set of 4 lipgloss and set of 4 eyeshadow - ditto as above!!!
If anyone has already opened these and can tell me then thank you!!!
Just looked in a Charlie set from Christmas, the tin with the sprays, phone sock and headphones. There's a voucher in there for 50p off a spray but it doesn't expire until April 30th 2008. Guess it's in all the Christmas Charlie sets.

Did alright in Boots today...
Popped into Notts Broadmarsh first to see if they had any bargains. Didnt get very far as something had happened to an elderly lady at the front of the store - not sure what but there was blood everywhere. My sister went white as a sheet and said she felt sick so it was a short trip! They had the S+G sets for £7.50, didnt spot any S+G bags but was in a hurry. None of the 17 Lip Glazes on display.
Just got 2 lucozade sports drinks (2 for £1.69) and a packet of lucozade energy tablets. The tablets went through as free on a 3 for 2 promotion?
Notts Victoria Centre was better, VERY busy though so was uber stressed! Glad I had my list!
Quite a lot of half price and sale fragrance stuff - had about 20 of the S+G sets for £7.50 and loads of the hatboxes for £9. Didnt get any though, I'm more of a 70% off or more gal tbh lol
What I did get:
No7 mens hair and body wash - £6
S+G Jam Session - £5
17 lip gloss - 3.49
17 nail varnish - 2.49 or 2.69 cant remember
17 lip glaze - 3.49
Total - 20.47
-£5 no7 voucher
-free lip glaze voucher from mag
-250p from gwp
-100p on mens no7 from mag
-200p on S+G spa in mag
-200p on S+G ACM
-50p wys £7.50 from ACM
= 11.98 + 844 points :j
The SA insisted that the £5 voucher and 250 points wouldnt work, I said I had used it before and it was fine, she tried it, it worked, then she started grumbling and moaning to SAs next to her that it says in the Ts&Cs not to be used with any other offer blah blah. You would think she would be more bothered about the 2 S+G vouchers I used or the 3 for 1 on 17
The funniest thing was just after her moan to neighbouring SA, a till spit for an online survey about my boots experience today popped out, she changed her tune a bit then! Suddenly it was, well that was good wasnt it, im so glad it went on for you. All sweetness
Glad everyone else seemed to have ok days today too xxReclaiming for family and friends. Won 4/13 so farHSBC CC - £263.25, Halifax CC - £179.45, HFC PPI - £589.00, HSBC PPI - £498.86, Lloyds PPI 1 - £4000 -
........Wonders if the S&G points coupons work with the free bag:D
I got the medium tinted moisturiser half price today, so it's not just the fair it works on.0 -
ooh thanks Clo. Do you mean no:7? I've never seen a no:7 item for less than £6 before. I've got a boots mag too, so will dig it out. That sounds super duper. Cheers!!! Hope you're both well
Sorry typing error! I mean 17, not 7. Thought would be good if DD wanted any bits, as 3 things for £3.79 is fab(or one for her and 2 wipes for you lol). Quite nice for your DD, now she is teenager as the free lip pots are very sheer and they do some very subtle shades of eye, lip and nail colours.
Soap and glory £5 range maybe good for her too as to get 400 points back and a £2 haircare voucher, which you can then use to get the free john freida £1.99 frizz ease serum. Or two if you add something to the £3.79 original transaction for £1.21
We are both dandy thank you0 -
2 x 17 Lip liner 1.00 each (SEL says 1.99
) barcode 5003 4697 in the buff) 3 4 2 = 1.00
In my post above, I said 'in the buff' liner scans for 1.00. This is incorrect. I have had a closer look at my receipts and 'in the buff' is 1.99. The liners that scan for 1.00 are:
expresso, barcode: 50034727 and mortida, barcode: 50034703 HTH:D0 -

Today, I asked the No7 lady in oxford street (large store) to check the price of this. It scanned full price:eek: I said my 'friend'had bought it 1/2 price at another store. She looked at me as if I had two heads:rotfl:
