In another forum (my professional organisation) I found this post:
Hi all,
I am looking for a pasta recipe that would be made up of all of the following ingredients, or even just some:
Chicken
Broccoli
White wine
Cream
I know I could probably just throw those together, but I thought having a decent recipe would be great. Any ideas?
Thanks
This was my reply:
Chop chicken finely, stir into a dish with a couple of spoonfuls of flour, get rid of excess flour and fry the floured chicken bits gently in a bit of hot oil or melted butter. When it is browned add a cup of white wine. When The sauce is nice and thick, lower the fire to the slowest of simmers and add the cream. Make sure you have a nice, runny sauce. Salt and pepper to taste.
If you don't have flour, you can do the same thing without but it will not make the sauce as thick (you can always add a little bit of cornflour if you have it - be careful to not put too much of it though as it thickens more than wheat flour).
Meanwhile, put the pasta in a pan of salted hot water to boil, let it boil 3-4 minutes then add the broccoli florets and let the whole thing cook until the pasta is done.
Drainand put the pasta/broccoli mix in an oven dish and top with the chicken and sauce. Mix everything and add a sprinkling of grated cheese on top of the whole thing.
Stick under grill to brown the cheese.
If you don't have the cheese to grill on top, have the whole mix as it is without grilling.
Let me know how it goes!
Hope you also enjoy it! She replied very happy!
Love to all

Have you all got your 'free' Good Housekeeping cook book'? It was mentioned on the grab it board, but I can't find the link. You have to subscribe to a quarterly direct debit of Good Housekeeping magazine at £7.74 a quarter but, your book is delivered with the first magazine so you can cancel the dd before they take the second dd out of your bank and you will just pay £7.74 (hope that makes sense)
It is a proper, full size, hard back book worth £25. It has the same title as THIS one but it has a different picture on the cover. You also get a free good quality apron. I got mine yesterday and I'm well chuffed
