Free Text Messages?

Hello all,
Does anyone know of a site where I can send texts without having to pay or subscribe to anything? I've looked at some and the T&C's look a bit dodgy, it seems they will randomly send me messages and charge me for it!
I used CBFSMS yesterday but now it's not allowing me to use it - I think it's because I got the reply through my phone instead of their site;for every reply you get another free message credit.
Thanks if you can help.

Being Girl (even if you're not a girl) works for me. You will need to register though. Then since I can't find a link from the main site, try this one, possibly not valid anymore though

Also, Orange gives free texts on it's website to PAYG customers, so other phone providers might also

Hi ShreksBodyDouble,
Just register on the O2 website and they give you free sms's. You don't need to be an O2 mobile customer either! I use it all the time!0 -
Although I am always looking out for a better service, CBFSMS seems to be in many ways the most reliable.
O2 only gives me 10 a month, and countless others either don't send the message or chop bits of it out for some reason (I think it was phreakyphonez that did that to me, on more than 1 occasion.)
Although CBF doesn't let you send half the time, at least when it has said that it's sent, it has.

I text a lot from my PC and use GenieTexter . AND I've never run out of texts!“When the customer comes first, the customer will last”0
