Free Quran (English Translation)

Sadly there were a few strange posts objecting to the above post on the board and an argument developed. I've deleted them all and wanted to add my own note on the back.

As I welcome all MoneySaving posts. A free Koran is an opportunity for Muslims to get it free and for non-muslims who are interested in reading first hand to find out about Islam themselves a chance to do so.

I will not tolerate religious prejudice here

I was quite shocked by some of the posts who immediately slammed back with 'Christian' freebies. There was a free Christian CD posted recently, nobody objected to that - and Im sure many would've been upset if someone had immediately posted something Islamic beneath it as a balance.

This time of year is holy for many

Many people intimated that this type of post isn't appropriate at Christmas time. Actually it's also Eid, Chanucah, Yule and a holy time for many religions, this site welcome MoneySavers from a broad church (if you forgive the pun).

This is a welcome freebie. If you want to post about other freebies, or 'how easy or difficult it is to download - feel free. If you want to object about the fact it is here. Then I've noted your objections and I disagree absolutely. If you aren't happy to accept this, then I suggest you no longer use the site.
