Fit Flops - Advice

Options
Just purchased first pair of fit flops and am in agony between toes. Have bought cushioned plasters but they keep coming off. Any advice? do they soften up quickly?

I've seen these but not bought them yet. Might be worth a go? Someone in the reviews tried them with fit-flops.

Edit: here's the link in full as it's not working for me when I click. Should be ok if you copy & paste. http://www.scholl.com/en-GB/Scholl-Party-Feet-Flip-Flop-Strips/10027118/ProductDetail.raction#pageTabsContainer

Mine did that for the first week or so. I just wore plasters on my feet (not very elegant but it did the trick!)

I have been wearing them now for about 4 months and had no more rubbing problems, although I don't like them :-)

I get a new pair every year and the exact same thing happens every year- the strap rubs in exactly the same place and causes blisters. Its normally for me on the instep part and the toe part as I have high insteps and flex my toes alot when I walk I think.

It works for me when I wear the fitflops every other day- wear one day, then another pair of shoes till my feet feel repaired, then wear them the next day (but just for one day) eventually like in 2 weeks or sooner they just seem fine.

Another idea is the Compeed tube which you rub on the parts which rub. Its not going to take all of the pain away but it does help alot. Comes in a blue stick, and looks like a fat version of a lip gloss. Boots sell them.
