I left them on for too long (9 hours) so they were a bit crunchy. They were nice though, if they were only cooked for 6 or 7 hours they'd be lovely. I'd also seal them first (either brown them or pop them in the micro for a few mins) because they fell apart as I lifted them out.
I served them with spagetti in the end, couldn't decide between that or rice.
Hope you enjoy them Elona and if you try them TiffWhen life hands you a lemon, make sure you ask for tequilla and salt0 -
Well, we're going out for a posh meal tonight at the Hotel Du Vin (someone else paying!) for MIL's 60th birthday. I'm a bit disappointed that my slow cooker's not in use today! I love the cooking smell through the house and everyone that comes to the door thinks I'm such a wonderful SAHM!!! Will try these though, meatballs appeal to kids.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Being at home, I enver leave my slow cooker on that long unless its over night. So about 6 hours is max for me. I wonder why they fell apart though.

I sometimes put whole lemons inside the cavity, gives a lovely flavour.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -

Someone else mentioned cooking with coke but I dont fancy all that extra sugar in my cooking. I bet it tastes nice though.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -

They didn't fall apart until I started poking at them with a serving spoon, I just think if they were browned or sealed they might hold together a bit better.
