Simply collect the packaging label from any pack of South African Plums that clearly shows the country of origin as South Africa together with the till receipt.

Please send these along with your name, address and contact tel number to:

    South Africa World Cup Competition
    The Promotions Centre
    PO Box 156
    St. Ives
    PE27 9BJ

The draw is open to Great Britain residents (excludes N.I) aged 18 and over.

    For T&C www.beautifulcountrybeautifulfruit.co.uk/offers.

    Good luck.

ETA: Just checked the T&C and it includes £5,000 spending money

Edit: I should have checked T&C before posting...

    2. Multiple entries are permitted, although bulk entries and entries by third parties will not be accepted.

    4. Entries will only be accepted if accompanied by one proof-of-purchase (i.e. the itemised till receipt) and the packaging label from South African grape, peaches, nectarines, plums, pears or apples which clearly states that the country of origin is South Africa. Only original itemised till receipts will be accepted, no photocopies.

Sorry - I may be being dim here! Where does it say £5,000 spending money, can't see it in the terms. Thanks for the post - great comp. Will be stocking up on fruit! There was one posted previously that said you had to have the South Africa logo sticker as proof, but I never find any in the supermarket with these on, this one implies you just need a label and reciept showing SA as the origin of the fruit :D

    BRMB

BRMB have recorded a sound somewhere in Birmingham; figure out what it is, and we'll give you £10,000.

We'll play once an hour throughout the day - so listen in for your chance to win.

Then, if you think you've got a good idea, text the word SOUND followed by a space and your name to 87867 when we tell you to for your chance to be a winner.

Right - I cant enter this as I won a cinema system with them about 4 months ago, but I know what the sound is - its the sound of the reject button on a vending machine - the only thing that isnt known is the location of the vending machine - you will have to guess this, but it is around the birmingham area so I would suggest places like the BRMB Canteen, The Bullring, The LG Arena, Birmingham City Football Club, Aston Villa Football Club etc... - now u need to Text the number between quarter past and half past on each hour from 7am to 5pm to be put in a random draw that u may get a call back from to go on air and tell them your guess - I was picked a week ago, but they told me I couldnt enter as I had won a big prize in the last 6 months and that was part of their T & C's - Have a look on their website for all the incorrect guesses as people are now only guessing the locations and Happy Winning x
Forgot to say that if you are not living in the Birmingham area, it might be good to say u listen to the radio station on the internet xx
Also, only 1 entry per person per hour is in their T & C's too, so dont send lots of texts as you may have ur prize took off you!
Its not the Bullring - maybe the National Indoor Arena?

Just so people don't carry on texting, this has now been won :( Well done winner! It was a £1 coin being returned in a vending machine in the shopping centre.

The £5,000 is mentioned in section 9 of the t&c's, mizzielizzie.

    9. The 1st prize is a 7 night trip to South Africa for 2 people (3 nights in Cape Town and 4 nights in Johannesburg) and includes return international flights from London, all internal flights within South Africa, 4* hotel accommodation on a bed & breakfast basis, meet & greet service, private transfers to hotel accommodation, two VIP Hospitality experiences on the respective days of the Cape Town Semi-Final and the Final and £5,000 spending money. All flights are economy class and hotel accommodation is based on 2 people sharing a twin room. Full details of itineraries, flights and hotel accommodation will be made available to the winner once identified but the winner must be able to travel between 04/07/10 and 13/07/10 inclusive in order to take up the prize. Holiday Insurance is the responsibility of the prizewinner. Tickets to the games are not included but the winner can use the spending money element of the prize for any purpose.

That's far better than most holiday comps. Amazingly generous!

  • Oops, sorry! There are 2 different comps for holidays on there - I was looking atthe other one i.e. the non-football one! But for £5,000 I guess I could put up with anything :rotfl::rotfl:

    Thanks for pointing it out.

  • You're welcome.

Personally, I can't cope with long flights. Could I win this, take the £5,000 and then 'miss' the flight?:D ..........No ?

BTW I've noticed no-one does the Country Living mag. I get it on subscription and could post the postal comp if you all like. Is that okay?
